I'm Aashita Verma (Ash), a multidisciplinary designer, creative technologist and illustrator from India who loves creating things that push the boundaries of conventional design. Currently pursuing a Masters in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design in New York, I build on my foundation in Graphic Design to explore new mediums and technologies.
Growing up as both a math enthusiast and art kid naturally led me to graphic design and eventually to my love for computational design. Combining the two, my work lies at the intersection of design and creative technology where imagination meets functionality.
In my experience as a graphic designer in studios and corporate spaces, I have worked in fast-paced environments, managed workflows between various departments, and contributed to digital and physical products.
At present, my research focuses on interactive and immersive technologies to craft meaningful human-centered experiences such as personal aids for memory retention and futuristic sensory communication design tools.
